The Joan Mattingley and Charles Cameron Scholarships are now open for applications from suitably qualified students. This is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by Victoria University of Wellington.
About the scholarship
In 1977, Dr. PhD in Biological Chemistry. The scholarship was established based on his will. Her husband Charles Cameron had a lifelong interest in music.
The scholarships provide funding, administered by the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation, for Masters studies – in Chemistry and Music separately, and may include a domestic and overseas travel component.
To encourage enrollment in master’s programs in both chemistry and music that may include domestic or international travel components.
Value: $15,000 each (subject to available funds).
Requirements for the scholarship
1. Applicants must be currently full-time or transfer students enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Chemistry or Music at Te Heranga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington.
2. Te Heranga Waka – Preference may be given to applicants who have completed all or part of their undergraduate degree in Chemistry in Chemistry at the New Zealand School of Music at Victoria University of Wellington.

A detailed budget and plan for how you intend to use the scholarship funds (the budget may include international or components, e.g. to attend auditions or conferences or for research purposes)
Proof of enrollment to show acceptance into the intended program.
